One of the India’s driving scientists and previous ISRO Chairman Mr. G Madhavan Nair presented the theory that a few shlokas in the Vedas mentioned about presence of water on the moon and space science specialists like Aryabhatta knew about gravitational force much before Isaac Newton. Delivering his lecture at an International Conference on Vedas on the 22nd February, 2015, he told that the data in the Vedas was in a “condensed format” which made it troublesome for the current science to acknowledge it.

The 71-year-old ‘Padma Vibhushan’ awardee said that the Vedas of India and ancient scriptures additionally had data on metallurgy, algebra, stargazing, maths, construction design and astrology well before the western world knew about them.

He also told that a few sholkas in one of the Vedas said that there was water on the moon however nobody trusted it. We could establish that through our Chandrayaan mission. Nair said that we were the first ones to find that out. He also said that including that everything in Vedas couldn’t be seen as they were encrypted in Sanskrit.

He spoke exceptionally about 5th century space expert mathematician Aryabhatta analysing that we should be truly pleased that Aryabhatta and Bhaskara have done immeasurable work on planetary movements and research on outer planets. Research on this field was a like a great challenge for them. The equation of Aryabhatta was utilized in Chandrayaan. Even the knowledge and information of gravitational force was already existed in our ancient scriptures, which Newton found some 1500 years later.

Mr. Nair, who was the chairman of ISRO from 2003-09, claimed that geometry was utilized to prepare calculations for building urban communities during the Harappan civilisation and also the Pythagorean theorem existed since the vedic era. The remarks via Nair came in the scenery of numerous BJP pioneers discussing old Indian scriptures having logical data including on plastic surgery and aero-dynamics.

Mr. Nair analysed that the Vedas had a considerable measure of data in the field of space and atomic energy. Indians were fine until 600 BC. From that time, India faced numerous attacks from outside till Independence. The nation was trying to develop from that stage. We decrypted the atoms for the use of mankind and peace.

Mr Nair had made significant achievements to the advancement of multi-stage satellite launch vehicles within his tenure in ISRO. He commented that being a scientist, he would clearly say that the calculations developed those days were truly fantastic. In his word, ‘Vedanga Jyotisa’ was one of the earliest books on astronomy, which was developed in 1400 BC. In his opinion, those were the essential discoveries which the Western world could not know, because all the informations were consolidated to bullet form and the modern science did not accept that. The more difficulty was that one must know the Sanskrit Language to read and gather those informations.
