Those incidents reflect that the law and order situation paralyzed in UP in the tenure of Yogi Adityanath. In the trail of the Hathras case in Uttar Pradesh, another incident of gang rape has now taken place in Balrampur. After the gang rape in Balrampur, the rapists broke the leg and waist of the victim. She died during the treatment on Wednesday. Like the victim of Hathras, the UP police conducted the last rites of the gang-rape victim in Balrampur late night. Police have arrested two accused in the case so far.
There has been unrest in Balrampur after the death of a college student who was a victim of gang rape. On the complaint of the student’s brother, the police have registered a case of rape and murder on two people.
How did the incident happen?
The incident was from Majhauli village in Gansdi Kotwali area. A degree college student of Pachpedwa went to deposit fees for admission on Tuesday. On the same day around 7 pm, a rickshaw driver left the girl near her house in an unconscious state. The family started taking the girl to the hospital but, she died on the way. The family members alleged that the girl was abducted while returning from the college and was gang-raped in a room in Gansdy town.
Since this incident, unrest has spread in the whole area. Police have arrested two youths on the complaint of the student’s brother. The girl’s slippers have been found outside the room where she was being taken for gang-raping in Gansdi market. The rickshaw by which the girl was despatched to their house, was also found in front of the same house.
According to the information received from the police, the room in which the student was being taken for gang-rape was the room behind a grocery store. It was described in the complaint that the man running the grocery store was the mastermind of this incident. When the girl’s condition started deteriorating after the gang-rape, the youth called a neighbourhood private doctor for treatment. But the doctor refused to give treatment after seeing the lonely girl in the room. The doctor asked the youth to inform his family members.
The funeral occurred at night
Balrampur SP, Deoranjan Verma said that two boys from Gansdi market had called a doctor to treat the victim. Both of the boys raped the girl. When her condition worsened, she was sent by rickshaw to her house.
Both the accused persons have been arrested and legal action was being taken. After the post-mortem, the dead body of the victim reached the village. A large number of police forces had already been deployed there. The victim was cremated late in the night.
UP has become Free Zone for Rapists
One after another rape case is happening these days because the law and order paralyzed in UP. A Dalit girl was brutally murdered in Bhadohi in another incident. She was killed by crushing her head. The girl’s family members alleged that their daughter was killed after being raped.
The incident was of Gopiganj Kotwali area of Bhadohi district, Uttar Pradesh. A 14-year-old Dalit minor girl had gone out of her house to go to the nearby farm to defecate in the afternoon in Chakrajaram Tiwaripur village. But she did not return for long. When the family went towards the farm they saw the blood-soaked body lying there. Somebody killed her crushing head.
Police reached the spot as soon as the incident happened. The relatives have expressed apprehension that their daughter has been killed after rape. The police started investigating on the spot. A team of forensic experts and crime branch have also been called for the investigation on the spot.
Bhadohi Superintendent of Police, Ram Badan Singh told that the police have been investigating on rape and other points. He told that the minor girl has been murdered by crushing her head. Whether rape was committed or not with the Dalit girl would be known only after the post-mortem report.
