You would not live more than six months – once doctor warned Adnan Sami

Adnan Sami had to face many problems in his daily life due to excess weight. Recently, Adnan Sami revealed some experiences of that time. He would not live more than six months, once a doctor told him. His body weight was 230 kg at that time.

The battle started with a weight of 230 kg. He had to be trolled many times for his appearance. At that time he went through a lot of stress. Songs such as ‘Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein’, ‘Tera Chehera’, ‘Uri Uri’, ‘Ishq Hota Nehi’ were becoming popular. Even the ultimate success of his life could not give him peace. He faced many problems in his daily life due to excess weight.

Adnan said that he was suffering from shortness of breath due to excessive fat. The doctors told him that he would live for six months if he did not lose weight quickly. Adnan’s heart was broken by the doctor’s words. But, did not give up. He took a resolution to lose weight no matter what come his way. He embarked on a weight loss battle as per the doctor’s advice. At first, he went to a nutritionist.

He hired a fitness trainer for exercise. The process of weight loss was not easy at all. Adnan loved to eat. Even before starting the diet, he had been eating high-fat foods like cheesecake, and steak every day.

After taking the resolution to lose weight, the weight loss journey began, and the diet was changed. Adnan completely stopped rice, bread, and processed food from outside. Foods like salad, curd, fish, and boiled pulses took the place instead of his previous diets. He did not even touch the sugar. He used to drink tea without sugar. His lunch was with boiled vegetables, salad, boiled pulses, or grilled chicken at night. Sometimes he ate food without salt and butter when he got hungry. He got permission to go to the gym after losing 40 kg weight by following a proper diet.

His physical activity starts with going to the gym, walking on the Treadmill and doing light exercises. A few months later he started ‘weight training’. Adnan used to lose weight by 10 kg every month. After losing 155 kg in 16 months, Adnan’s weight is now 75 kg.

Adnan told that he had to sit and sleep. He could not sleep lying on the bed. Once he sat down, he could not get up alone. Someone needed to help him to get up. He was completely dependent on others for his everyday job. There was physical pain, as well as mental pain also. He was slowly getting depressed. He himself was uncertain whether it was possible to lose this huge weight.

It was such a time he went through was really painful, said the singer. In his words, “I myself was really afraid of it on observing my condition”. The doctor told me – if you do not lose weight, you can die any day. I could not even get into the car. Even after getting up, I could not sit properly. After losing the weight I got a whole new life back.”

Adnan Sami had 3 failed marriages. At the age of 39 years, Adnan fell in love with Roya Faryabi and the duo had gotten married on January 29, 2010. After years of marital bliss, the couple got proud with a baby girl. They named her Medina Sami Khan. It seems that the arrival of the daughter has also brought good luck in his life as he has entered the arena of film.

The life story of Adnan Sami is an inspiration to everybody, especially those who are going to the gym with a bulky figure. We see a lot of people do not take their body weight seriously. But, everybody should remember that if Adnan Sami can reduce his body weight from 230 kg to 75 kg, anybody can take a resolution to reduce his body weight to normal.
