If you travel to Australia you should try for an unusual food like ‘Witchetty Grub’. It is a better choice and wonderful source of protein to be included into your food list. Generally native Australians consider it as elegant and they use to be happy to eat them frequently.

Matt Clark, who created ‘Culinary Madness’ told that this was to be realized that these foods were just as natural as any other products and needed to be expose as special cuisine.

Witchetty grubs have been a traditional listed food in Aboriginal weight control plans. Living 60 centimetres beneath the ground under ‘black wattle’ trees and ‘waterway red gum’ trees, encouraging off bark, they can be seen in many parks in Australia. These words are very common that Wichetty Grubs are so rich in protein that 10 Witchetty Grubs are enough for the daily requirement of an adult. Matt Clark, who created ‘Culinary Madness’ was of the opinion that you can experience a quite pleasant taste in Witchetty Grubs like flavour of fried eggs, flavour of nuts and its skin feel like fried chicken.

Any individual who does not extravagant crude, plump, grub rolling around on their tongue could lightly burn it in a hot saucepan, or on a grill with some margarine and garlic.

Preparation:

Sliced Cheddar cheese – 1 cup

Cream-style corn – 1 cup

Olive oil – 2 teaspoons

Self-rising flour as per requirement

Cocktail frankfurter 3 pieces

Decolourized slivered almonds – 1 teaspoon

Method:

Preheat stove to 190 degrees Celsius, then make a baking sheet with a thin layer of oil.

Combine the smooth yellow cheese, corn, olive oil, and self-rising flour so that it becomes a malleable mixture of flour and liquid.

Roll the mixture out into a long shape, and cut into 16 equal slices. Roll every piece into a ball. Cut the mixed Cocktail frankfurter into 6 cuts each. Note that there will be 2 additional slices. Select 8 Decolourized slivered almond.

To make the grubs, place 4 batter balls onto the baking pan, and squeeze them firmly together so they make a bulging grub with 4 fragments. Place a cut of mixed Cocktail frankfurter on top of every section for markings. Stick 2 little almond bits into an end ball to make eyes. Repeat the same process for the other grubs as well.

Bake the grubs in the preheated oven until it turns golden brown, and bake it for around 15 minutes.
