After the bodies were found in the rivers, now a frightening picture of the bodies buried in large numbers on the banks of the Ganges river has come out. So many bodies have been buried on the banks of the Ganges at Devrakh Ghat at the Naini area in Sangam City Prayagraj that people have started hesitating to come here. This kind of incident was also observed in Kannauj, Kanpur, Raebareli of Uttar Pradesh.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “There is no shortage of oxygen, beds and medicines in UP, conspiracy is being made against UP government”. But, signs of “Achhe Din” are scattered here and there in UP during the COVID-19 pandemic.

So far, hundreds of dead bodies have been buried in the Ganges sand along the banks of the river. After a strong wind blows, buried bodies are seen everywhere on the banks as far as the sand area is seen.

Along with this, hundreds of dead bodies have also been cremated at ‘Devrakh Ghat’. People have now stopped bathing in the river due to the funeral and burial of such a large number of dead bodies on the ghat.

It has been assumed that a large number of people have died due to the COVID-19 epidemic in Prayagraj. However, no one is prepared to speak responsibly about the cause of death of so many people in the last month. But, observing the buried bodies, it can be estimated that a large number of people have died in the district.

According to the people, the number of deaths occurred in the last one and a half month is 100 times more than the government figures. The number of deaths is so much that the space in the cremation ground and cemeteries of the city has reduced. After which dead bodies have been buried in the sand on the banks of the Ganges.

As a result of that pollution and dirt will not only spread on the Ghats of the Ganges, there will also be an increased risk of bad odor and disease spreading in the surrounding areas.

The people of ‘Devrakh’ village say that the district administration should get these bodies removed from the sand and get them duly cremated. If not done, the bodies will come out even if the water level of the river rises in the rain. The dead bodies have not been buried like the grave. If the layer of sand is moved the bodies will come out.

This is the horrible situation of Uttar Pradesh where the BJP is ruling. It has been clear that the state government has taken no scientific step to combat the COVID-19 outbreak prior to the second wave. In fact, some of their MLA’s and MP’s were of the opinion to drink ‘Cow Urine’ regularly to combat COVID-19.

Pragya Thakur, a BJP MP demanded, “Desi cow urine should be drunk every day, then the lung damage caused by COVID-19 will be cured”. Is that the concept for which the Yogi Adityanath government disregarded doctor’s guidelines? Now, the people of Uttar Pradesh are cherishing the signs of Achhe Din during this COVID-19 pandemic.
