We have been hearing about the breathing exercise from several Yoga experts for a long time. Currently, a Nobel-winning scientist of the United, States Louis J Ignarro has imprinted this concept. Many experts have already claimed that coronavirus infection can be prevented through breathing and yoga. It has also been said to follow the rule of breathing.

Breathing exercise or you can say the system of ‘Pranayama’ was compiled sometime between 500 BCE and 200 BCE that we can get from history. But, now there has been an uproar over the demand because the demand has been initiated by a Nobel-winning scientist of United States Louis J Ignarro.

What is the claim of Ignarro?

Ignarro says you have to breathe through your nose and exhale through your mouth. That is the system by which corona infection can be prevented. He further claims that it is a very beneficial method to breathe through the nose and discard it through the mouth. It produces nitric oxide in the body, increases blood circulation to the lungs and increases oxygen levels throughout the body.

According to a report published by ‘The Conversation’, how a person breathes may depend on whether the infection is prevented. The report also claims that those who inhale through the nose have higher levels of immunity. And that claim is not going to be completely blown away because the claim was made by Nobel laureate American Pharmacologist Luis J Ignarro.

Luis J Ignarro was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in the year 1998. According to his research, nitric oxide is produced in the nasal cavity of those who breathe through the nose and mouth. This molecule increases the blood flow to the lungs. At the same time increases the level of oxygen in the blood.

Scientists claim that nitric oxide travels directly to the lungs when one breathes through the nose. This causes the coronavirus to replicate in the lungs. If there is more oxygen in the blood, people feel fresh.

The human body always produces nitric oxide and it helps in the formation of arteries and veins in the human body, especially the endothelium of the lungs. This endothelium helps to smooth the arterial muscles which help to prevent problems related to high blood pressure. It also increases blood flow to other parts of the body. In addition, nitric oxide helps prevent blood clots in the arteries.
